We are proud to introduce you to the team here at Top Lodge Equestrian. For us, it's been a lifelong dream and something that we have achieved through much hard work and determination. We would love for you and your horse to be part of our journey.
Samantha Barnes - yard owner
My passion for horses started when I was just 9 years old at my local riding school and since then I have never looked back! I now have nearly 20 year's valuable experience within the equine industry, varying from showjumping and dressage, to completing my BHS Stages 1 - 3 at Merrist Wood Equine College. I have also managed a Professional Livery Yard for 4 years where I started as a Saturday Groom and worked my way up to Head Groom. I love to compete regularly in BS competitions with my horses and hope to compete internationally with my young horse that I am currently producing. Working with horses has always been a dream of mine and I am lucky enough to say that my dreams have come true! Without the help of my dedicated parents, none of this would have been possible and for that I am forever grateful. Thank you Mum and Dad.

KEn Barnes - tractor driver aka dad
Ken can be regularly spotted on his tractor and ride on lawn mower keeping the yard in tip top condition. If you want a chat and cuppa, he is your man. No task is too big for our handyman Ken (DAD)
sue Barnes - top supporter aka mum
Sue can always be found on the yard checking the horses, mucking out and is one of my top supporters. Away from horses my mum loves pottering around in the garden and fussing over the cats, chickens and ducks.
